About Me

I am an Associate Professor of Political Science at University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. My teaching and research are focused on U.S. government and politics, though they cover a broad range of subfields (e.g., institutions, public policy, methodology, political behavior).

In Fall 2016, I will join Pacific’s new Public Policy and Public Administration programs, where I will teach courses on statistics and research design.

During Summer 2016, I inaugurated Pacific’s new Sacramento Governance Summer Immersion Program, where undergraduates live on Pacific’s Sacramento campus, work in internships, and take a class exploring the day-to-day realities of governance. More information about the program can be found here.

Here’s my C.V.
